As an example of our work in the area of investment attraction, Corby Group`has worked closely with the Gold Coast City Council, Queensland, Australia, to redevelop the profile of the Gold Coast and to attract a particular technology industry, namely, call centres, customer contact centres and support centres.

This assignment has covered the development and implementation of a strategy to raise the profile of the area through a formal marketing plan and then to identify and qualify a target market of potential organisations who were considering relocation. With this established the final phase was to present the Gold Coast to these organisations. Essential to this assignment and all exercises of this type is the
establishment of strategic alliances with a range of organisations and vendors in the Call Centre marketplace.

As a consequence of this particular project, the Corby Group has established a close relationship with
the Gold Coast City Council (which when combined with nearby Brisbane forms the third largest urban community in Australia with over 2 million inhabitants), the Queensland State Government and Telstra Corporation. It has also resulted in the Corby Group being appointed as a Gold Call Centre Partner of Telstra Corporation.
